In RCSS, a typical day (Monday to Friday) starts at 5:00am and ends at 10:00pm for boarders while it starts at 7:30 am and ends at 3:00pm for day students. Extracurricular activities are typically scheduled in the afternoons and early evenings during the school week; however some extracurricular activities are also scheduled on weekends.
Class schedules start with registrations at 7:40am followed by a general assembly. Lessons begin at 8:10 am and ends at 2:40pm daily
For boarders, the boarding house program continues after contact class hours at 3:00pm with a five-minutes Adoration prayer and praises. Wednesdays and Fridays are for Laundry. Mondays and Fridays are for Manual Labour while Tuesdays and Saturdays are for Sporting activities. Thursdays are usually dedicated to club meetings or meetings with Class Teachers or Teacher-Guardians.

Saturday mornings are spent doing general hostel cleanups and room inspections. Special classes or tutorials may also take place during the late morning periods. Saturday evenings are spent on the field carrying out different sporting activities.
Sundays are sacrosanct and used specifically for rest and growing in the knowledge of God through spiritual activities like Choir practice, pious society prayer meetings, catechism classes, bible studies and the Holy Mass.
At least two to three hours of Sunday are dedicated to rest and sleep while they end the day seeing a good movie.
